It could be a regular music session, or a teaching session or any indoor games. Anything that can make them happy and busy should be there in old age homes, so the old ones never get caught by loneliness, depression, etc.

3. Amenities:

Make sure that the amenities provided in old age homes should be good enough. One can also opt for luxury retirement homes though it would cost more. Few essential amenities and requirements should have to be fulfilled, like  Quality food, care of hygienic, access to best medical facilities, etc. It depends on person to person. Along with that make sure, the location of your old age home should be appropriate as well, It should be accessed with the all the possible means of transportation and with appropriate climatic conditions. It would not be appropriate if someone gets admission in old age home of goa or Manali due to unpredictable weather conditions in summer and winter respectively. On the other hand, it is perfectly fine to get into Bangalore, Pondicherry, etc. due to suitable weather conditions.
